Open standards are the key to future-proof, interoperable 3D ecosystems. We are therefore excited to announce that EXP Software GmbH is now an official member of the ➞ Alliance for OpenUSD (AOUSD) – a global initiative dedicated to advancing the next generation of digital interoperability.
With this membership, we are strengthening our commitment to open, connected technologies and expanding our expertise in three key focus areas:
AOUSD, together with partners such as NVIDIA, Pixar, Adobe, and Autodesk, is driving the ongoing development of the open standard OpenUSD. This standard enables seamless collaboration between diverse 3D applications and platforms – from creative content production to industrial simulation environments.
As an active participant, we are contributing to the design of how data, tools, and platforms will be structured and interconnected in the 3D and Digital Thread context. In doing so, we support digital sovereignty and the creation of transparent, scalable ecosystems where interoperability and data security are equally ensured.
By combining our expertise in domain-specific AI models (DSLLM), data integration within NVIDIA Omniverse, and open standards, we are building a strong foundation for the development of next-generation digital twins and complex simulations. This approach enables more accurate digital representations of real-world processes and supports innovation across industries.
